Expansion 2009 is a year of growth for Noord Natie Terminals. The construction of two new tankpits has started and the 13 tanks will be operational by December. But flexibility and customer service have been at the root of business growth, the Belgian operator says Noord Natie Terminals (NNT) has embarked on a newbuilding project at its Antwerp site, comprising six tanks of 1,800 m~3 and seven of 1,000 m~3, all in stainless steel. The tanks will be equipped with dedicated product and vapour return lines, including separate product lines to the deepsea jetty and barge jetty. Truck loading, both for bottom and top loading, will be by separate lines and pumps for each tank and rail cars will also be able to be loaded and discharged.
