The European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) held its 44th Annual Meeting this past October 2 to 6 in the beautiful city of Budapest. Falling at a time of uncertain economic conditions and increasing pressure from regulators, it was testament to the long-standing importance attached to the event that it attracted more than 2,300 delegates and was described by EPCA president Tom Crotty, director of Ineos Group, as the "most successful EPCA ever".
