All gain, little pain

For some time now the global demand for bulk liquids storage capacity has outstripped supply. As a result, even through the downturn of the past three years, independent terminal operators have done very nicely out of the market and are still doing so. The reasons behind the ongoing rise in demand for storage capacities are well publicised: continual demand growth for both chemicals and fuels - especially in emerging economies, the emergence of the biofuels market and the global movement of feedstocks.
