Germany offers fuel oil opt-out from ADN

Germany has initiated a multilateral special agreement under ADN, the regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods by inland waterway in Europe, that will provide a derogation for heavy fuel oil and residual fuel oil classified as environmentally hazardous and assigned to UN 3082 or 3077. The agreement, M002, will require compliance with the documentation requirements in 5.4.1 of ADN, but provides relief from all other provisions.
