Vopak and gas infrastructure company NV Nederlandse Gasunie are to build an LNG Break Bulk terminal for the distribution of LNG throughout the Netherlands and northwest Europe, for which Royal Dutch Shell will be the initial customer. The independent, open-access LNG Break Bulk terminal will be constructed at the Maasvlakte at the Port of Rotterdam, and will provide LNG for use in marine bunkering and for filling stations for trucks.
