CDI promotes safety in Middle East

The Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI) and Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) setting out plans for the two bodies to collaborate in promoting cost-effective systems for risk assessment in the Middle East as well as the Responsible Care and Code of Distribution Management Practice. It also covers education and awareness programmes aimed at improving safety, security and quality performance in the marine transport of chemicals and for the chemical industry in the region.
