BDP on the front foot

BDP International (BDP), a US-headquartered privately owned global logistics and transport services company, has taken a majority equity position in Sweden's Polar Logistics, an existing member of the BDP global network. Based in Stockholm, the resulting joint venture will operate as BDP International Sweden under its current management team led by director and general manager Caisin Veaceslav Caisin. "Given the strength of the Scandinavian economies, particularly export-oriented Sweden, it was imperative to reinforce our presence in the region," says BDP chief venture officer H Timothy Bolte.
