Stolthaven Terminals has reported an operating profit of $45.2m for the first half year, up from $41.4m last time. This year's result was inflated by gains from sales, though, and excluding exceptional items operating profits fell by $5.3m. The New Orleans terminal was impacted by Hurricane Isaac and during the second quarter throughput at the Santos terminal in Brazil was affected by delays to the sugar cane ethanol season.
