Vopak builds for the future

Following a number of disposals and a warning on its EBITDA target for 2016, Vopak has announced more projects that will help it meet its medium-term growth plans. It has formed a joint venture, Korea Oil Terminal, in which it holds a 38 per cent share alongside Korea National Oil Co (KNOC, 51 per cent) and local refiner S-Oil (11 per cent). KOT plans to build a 9.9m-bbl (1.57m-m~3) oil product terminal in Ulsan, South Korea, to come onstream in 2017.
