Top starts again

Top Ships Inc is reported to have placed an order for a 39,000-dwt 'Eco-type' chemical/product tanker at Hyundai Mipo for delivery in third quarter 2015. A price of $35m is quoted. The order arrived this past December, three months after Top Ships sold its entire six-strong fleet to private investors, paid off its borrowings and embarked on a programme of new vessel acquisition.
