THE WORLD - AND its petrochemical industry - is waiting to emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic and waiting to see how different the world will be in the future. The European Petrochemical Association (EPCAI is convinced that, whatever the future looks like, it will rely on digitised systems to move things forward in a sustainable way. As Caroline Ciuciu, EPCA CEO, says: "We've been learning valuable lessons over past months - on the power of interconnected, digital supply networks to enable companies to anticipate, sense and respond to unexpected changes and minimise their impacts. Covid-19 accelerated the adoption of digital supply chain solutions that were on our sector's agenda for years. As we embrace and move these processes forward, we should try to assess how best to seize and optimise this shift to interconnectivity for greater value."
