A Level 1 emergency response information provider (ERIP) is a 24x7x365 call centre that is staffed by trained professionals competent in offering emergency information to first responders as well as the general public in the event of a hazardous materials or dangerous goods incident. This emergency information could be in the form of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information or other necessary emergency information to help mitigate an incident.
