During a recent visit to the Berries—an indoor skatepark and skateboard-media company in downtown Los Angeles— I skated with a South Korean graphic designer. He had brought an illustration as a gift for Eric Koston, one of the founders, and after it was well received he was soon discussing a new mural for the space with two skaters who manage the company's business development. At the Berrics, skating enables productivity, and productivity enables skating. Fun is work, and work is fun.
