The Quality Coastal State

Regulatory initiatives governing the oceans have for a long time been focused on ships, with very little attention given to the performance of the coastal states. Their important role appears to have been ignored. Therefore BIMCO believes that it is time to turn attention towards the holistic role maritime states in their capacity as coastal States.
