German mega-yacht building yards

Situated on the banks of the river Weser the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen was founded by a man named Henry Rasmus-sen in 1907. Over one hundred years elapsed since then and the shipyard has been developed to a modern shipbuilding facility with currently five halls for ships of up to 80 m length, a harbour basin and a Syncrolift. In ecological friendly workshops conventional steel as well as aluminium and not magnetizing steel is being used for the construction of state-of-the-art ships and boats.
