The Swedish Institute of Shipping Analysis (SAI) was founded in 1993 with the mission to provide its members with in depth market and shipping intelligence and analysis, summarized by the motto »Its all about the future!« Traditionally, SAI invites executives of its members in the first days of a new year to Gothenburg in order to discuss actual trends and topics in shipping in the framework of lectures, podium discussions and a networking dinner.%Am 18. und 19. Januar diskutierten ca. 60 teilweise hochrangige Teilnehmer am SAI Executive Meeting in Göteborg die aktuellen Megatrends und die Marktaussichten in der Schiffahrt. Zusammenfassend wurde gemeinsam mit Analysten von IHS Fairplay und ODS Petrodata herausgearbeitet, dass in jedem Ab-schwung auch Chancen liegen. Obwohl die Tank- und Bulkschijffahrt momentan unter Überkapazitäten und niedrigen Raten leiden, waren mittelfristig vorsichtigoptimistische Prognosen zu hören.
