Activity at the market for container ship new buildings remained calm in this reporting period. For larger tonnage, ordering lingered in the passive state. It doesn't seem as if any potential project for bigger vessels is anywhere near to a closure. The only firm order was placed by Japanese owner Kotoku Kaiun at the Japanese shipyard Kyokuyo at an undisclosed price.
