On 24 January Meyer Turku Shipyard delivered the RoPax ferry »Megastar« to Tallink. She will sail between Helsinki and Tallinn and is setting new standards regarding environmental aspects and comfort. The vessel was built under Bureau Veritas classification and has Ice Class la as well as Cleanship and Green passport notation. Tecnitas, the consulting arm of Bureau Veritas, has carried out the HAZ-ID workshop which is mandatory according to the IGF code.
