Ellen's Table Runner

This runner is the result of an enrichment program at Sky Oaks Elementary School in Burnsville, Minnesota. One of the enrichment activities in teacher Francie Iverson's third grade class is weaving a project on a 4-shaft table loom. This year, Ellen Johnson designed and wove the overshot table runner shown here. She also wrote a paper explaining the technical part of weaving and prepared a display board to share with the class. Her teacher was so impressed that she invited Ellen to give a presentation to the Weavers Guild of Minnesota. Here are complete instructions for Ellen's runner.
