Safety of pipeline systems is the focus of the 7th Pipeline Technology Conference

Energy and water consumption in both existing and new centres of consumption is continuing to increase worldwide. The demand for pipelines, and dependence on them, is also growing to the same extent. The num ber of accident reports, particularly in countries with less technological experience, is rising. It is no surprise therefore, that these regions are looking to Central Europe where, despite the highest frequency of high pres sure pipelines, the least number of accidents occur.
