Google is building a driverless car with no steering wheel, gas pedal or brakes. The Internet giant said it plans to put 100 prototypes of the electric-powered cars on the road in California by mid-2015. Their top speed would be 25 mph. The two-seater vehicles look like Smart cars and come with stop and go buttons, eliminating the task of driving. The cars are even more hands-free than the self-driving Lexus SUVs and Toyota Priuses that Google has been testing in California, the company said.
