Federal appellate judges toss challenge to Interior fees on exports

A federal appeals court today rejected a coal company's challenge to an Interior Department fee levied on mined coal destined for export. The ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is the latest in a string of cases on the fees dating back to 2001.
