Euthanasia considered for aggressive monkeys in national park

Increasingly aggressive monkeys in South Africa's famed Kruger National Park have officials considering ways to avoid human-monkey interactions, including capturing and euthanizing "problem animals." Signs warning "Do not feed the monkeys" are everywhere, but tourists continue to toss scraps to monkeys becoming emboldened by consistent human contact. Monkeys hanging around camping and picnic areas are stealing food off plates and out of vehicles, and attacking visitors. A vervet monkey reportedly left a bad bite on the waist of a German tourist last month.
