Moderate earthquakes rumble through state

Several moderate earthquakes shook central and northwest Oklahoma yesterday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A magnitude-4.0 quake was recorded at 10:44 a.m. CDT near Harrah, located about 25 miles east of Oklahoma City. A magnitude-3.7 temblor struck at 1:46 p.m. CDT about 25 miles north of Oklahoma City. And the agency said two additional quakes registering at magnitudes 3.4 and 3.5 were recorded seconds apart at 1:25 a.m. CDT, about 90 miles northwest of the capital city.
