Don Benton, formerly a top official at the Trump administration's U.S. EPA, was sworn in late yesterday as director of the Selective Service System, an agency spokesman told E&E News today. The Selective Service System is a small independent agency, with a $22.7 million budget and more than 100 employees last year, that would oversee a potential military draft.
