Police horses to get new home on the National Mall

In 1976, the U.S. Park Police started housing their horses in what was intended to be a temporary structure onthe National Mall.Forty-three years later, it's still standing, with rotting wood, small stalls, poor drainage and ventilation, and anopen-air manure storage area that attracts plenty of flies.
