Blackjewel sales still not out of the woods

Bankrupt coal company Blackjewel LLC has a federal judge's blessing for a fire sale, but there are strings attached, and protesting miners are still demanding missed paychecks. At the end of a two-day hearing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of West Virginia yesterday, Judge Frank Volk had approved a series of deals for some of Blackjewel's 32 mines.
