The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee this morning moved Wyoming resident Robert Wallace asignificant step closer to filling the long-vacant slot of assistant Interior secretary for fish and wildlife and parks.The panel approved Wallace's nomination by a 19-1 vote, setting him up for confirmation by the full Senate."He is very well-qualified for this position," said Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.). "He's going to bring to the job awealth of experience."The only objection came from Sen.
