RSA Reflection Riding Lecture with the Landscape Institute

If you see dozens of blue Ikea chairs snaking through the streets of your local neighbourhood, it could signify the arrival of Walter Hood. This strikingly inventive idea is used by Hood, professor of landscape architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, as a means of initiating conversations with the communities he and his practice (Hood Design) work with. Sadly, no such device was used to signify the location of the RSA in central London, where Hood's lecture was jointly hosted by the Landscape Institute, and chaired by its president, Kathryn Moore.
