Birmingham, England—With the first phase of the NEC's $24-million renovation complete, work resumed this month to ensure that finishing touches are in place by Ipex showtime in early April. As of mid-November, the show already is more than 90% sold with some 640 confirmed exhibitors—53% from outside the U.K.; 7% from Asia. Some 74,000 attendees are expected at the 11 halls of Ipex, making it Europe's largest printing and graphics arts exhibition in 2006.
