Russia Passes Law on GLONASS-BeiDou Cooperation

A Russian law approved July 26 sets forth cooperation between Russia and China on using GLONASS and BeiDou for peaceful purposes. According to the RosCosmos website, the law was approved at a meeting of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The law is officially named, "On ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the use of GLONASS and Beidou global navigation satellite systems for peaceful purposes."
