BDStar: A China SatNav Industry Leader

From 1978 to 1998, China's GNP increased 500 percent, through a strategy of government-sponsored initiatives, including developing China's own satnav system. As BeiDou grew, a Chinese GNSS industry emerged. One of its leaders is Beijing BDStar Navigation Company. I touched base recently with my friend, Beijing BDStar Chairman Ruxin Zhou, to get the story on satnav industry growth in China.
