North Korean authorities have attached satellite tracking devices to border guards in a trial run, reports Radio Free Asia. The first equipped is likely the fourth company, which guards the main path for defection and smuggling at the garrison in Onsong county in North Hamgyong province on the border with China. The trackers also prevent guards from going AWOL from their posts along the border.
