New Imagery of Sendai

Imagery collected of the Sendai region in Japan on Sunday 3~rd April 2011 and Monday 4~th April 2011, taken at even higher resolution than previously, has been added to the Google archive. A few days after the devastating 9.0-magnitude earthquake that struck north eastern Japan Google published updated satellite imagery of the region in Google Maps and Google Earth, illustrating the massive scale of devastation in the affected areas and thus helping relief organisations, 4 maps.google.
