This rare example of providing for the homeless is by involved architects using remnant materials, without commission, fee or formal consent, but with the knowledge of the authorities. This, according to regulations, means that no rooms are allowed suitable for residence: i.e. ceilings and door lintels are lower, walls without windows, no water or electricity connections. The contradiction is a dilemma. Within sight of opulent villas, the four small huts are, after few years, so weathered and surrounded by growth that they are hardly noticeable.
