The present fourth (and full-color) edition by Mather and Koch is no exception to this, and represents an excellent, comprehensive, and thoroughly up-to-date introduction to digital image processing of remotely-sensed data, which is aimed at practicing professionals, and advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students taking courses in remote sensing and GIS in Geography, Geology and Earth/Environmental Science departments.
