The Framed World: Tourism, Tourists and Photography

Having devoted much of my academic life to researching tourism photography, it feels a bit like an early Christmas gift to receive the edited collection The Framed World: Tourism, Tourists and Photography for review. The book is edited by the two well-known tourism scholars Mike Robinson and David Picard from the influential Centre for Tourism and Cultural Change, Leeds Metropoli-tian University. The book seems to have grown out of the 2003 conference Tourism and Photography: Still Visions - Changing Lives that took place at the Centre for Tourism and Cultural Change.
