On the correlation of geochemical parameters of oils based on alkyl-benzene and saturated hydrocarbon composition

The compositions of individual saturated and monoaromatic hydrocarbons from West Siberian oils were studied. Geochemical parameters based on the composition of alkanes, isoprenoids, steranes, terpanes, and alkylbenzenes were calculated. It was shown that parameters based on the composition of alkylbenzenes can be used in geochemical studies separately or together with other parameters.
