Les études d'exploitation permettent de définir les caractéristiques et les performances d'une ligne nouvelle afin de satisfaire les besoins d'un schéma de desserte défini par le promoteur de la ligne. Ces études nécessitent une concertation permanente avec les bureaux d'études techniques qui garantissent la faisabilité technique du projet et avec les bureaux d'études socio-économiques qui vérifient la cohérence avec les attentes de la clientèle potentielle des trains amenés a circuler sur la ligne. Pour le projet de LGV PACA, cette interaction s'enrichit d'une concertation continue avec les co-financeurs du projet : RFF, I'État français, la Principauté de Monaco et les principales collectivités territoriales.%Operations studies are conducted to define the characteristics and performance of a new line in order to meet the needs of a service matrix defined by the promoter of the line. These studies require continuous consultation with the technical engineering firms guaranteeing the technical reliability of the project and with the firms carrying out the socio-economic studies to verify that the project is commensurate with the expectations of potential customers who will travel on the trains operated on the line. For the PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte dAzur region) high speed line project, this interaction is enhanced by continuous consultation with the joint funders of the project: RFF, The French State, the Principality of Monaco and the main territorial communities in the region.
