摘要

As trends move towards high-effici-ent filter media, spunlaced materials offer a great product alternative within the filtration market already today. Thanks to the high-density fiber entanglement, spunlaced filter media show a tightly con-trolled pore size distribution and a superi-or uniformity of the material, which lead to increased filtration efficiency. It is the spunlace technology as such and the intrinsic properties of the hydroen-tangled material that show improved per-formance characteristics in various fields of filtration. Recently developed compos-ite structures that combine spunlaced non-woven layers with fine fibers or microfib-ers can improve the filtration efficiency even more.
