Derzeit liegt der Fokus auf den Materialkombinationen Glasfaser-Polypropylen, Glasfaser-Polyamid und Carbonfaser-Polyamid.rnDurch Modifikation der jeweiligen thermoplastischen Matrixkomponente können sowohl hochfeste als auch schlagzähe Hybridwerkstoffe maßgeschneidert für den Kundenbedarf bereitgestellt werden.%Process and machine developments for the production of technical textiles and for various fibre composite structures for light weight construction are the key topics of the trade fair presentation of the Cetex Institut fuer Textil- und Verarbeitungsmaschinen gemeinnuetzige GmbH, Chemnitz/Germany. The hybrid plant for the production of Ce-Preg mate-rnrials enables the cost-efficient production of universal, continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic prepregs for the further processing in a semifinished product process for the production of fibre composites. The material is characterised by the stretched and parallel position of all reinforcing fibres and the protective embedding of the fibres between two thermoplastic matrix films. The newly developed fibre spreading module realises an exactly defined weight per unit area per layer and the torsion-free, careful spreading of the reinforcing fibre rovings. The variable position of the UD tapes in the preform allows a load-dependent design of the component structures. Currently, the focus is on the material combinations glass fibre - polypropylene, glass fibre - poly amide and carbon fibre - polyamide. By modifying the respective thermoplastic matrix component, tailor-made high strength and impact resistant hybrid materials can be offered to the customers.
