This process is very comprehensive and cannot be described in terms of production alone. Necessary steps prior to manufacture include product development with concept, product design, construc-tion and preparation with the process steps workflow, material disposition and price calculation. Manufacture itself involves cut-ting, joining, shaping, treating, finishing, packaging and shipping. Laser, hot wire, knives or punches are common cutting tools. Thermo-cutting, for instance, offers the option to weld the cut edges right away. Thermo-joins create closed or partly open connections and can produce very tight seams.
