Andre Lang has been General Manager at Norafin Industries GmbH (Germany) since 2006. The 42-year-old has more than 15 years of experience in the nonwoven industry and has acquired in-depth knowledge and lots of expertise in the field of needle and water jet technology. With the support of Pinova Capital, the Mildenau-based company is going to invest about 13.5 million euros between 2013 and 2016. With the expansion of production facilities and an investment in a new water jet line, the nonwoven manufacturer is now able to better respond to demands on the market, expand the portfolio of special nonwovens, introduce new products and ensure long-term supply reliability. The new line is set up to produce multi-layer technical nonwovens, up to 2.4 m wide and with an area mass of 20 - 800 g/m~2. It is capable of processing man-made performance fibers (PTFE, P84, meta- and para-aramides) as well as natural fibers.
