This is an extremely readable book, and a welcome contribution to research in the areas of language, gender and leadership. While acknowledging that its centrality to my research interests may have played a part, I think that others will also find it accessible and thought-provoking.rnThe book's goals are stated clearly at the outset: first, to assess whether there is in fact a distinct language of female leadership; and second, to consider how female leaders can utilise language as effectively as possible to achieve their business objectives.
