PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare and manage a list of books owned by an individual so as to be able to obtain the information of new books matched with taste.;SOLUTION: A bookshelf server 10 receives user ID and an ISBN code from a user terminal 30 and transfers the ISBN code to a bookstore terminal 20. The bookstore terminal 20 specifies a Japanese book code corresponding to the ISBN code and sends book information corresponding to the ISBN code and the specified Japanese book code to the bookshelf server 10. The bookshelf server 10 prepares library information obtained by collecting the book information and the user ID as a key and the user terminal 30 receives the library information from the bookshelf server 10 and refers to and corrects the received bookshelf information. In the case of buying a book from the bookstore 2, the bookstore terminal 20 reads out the user ID and the ISBN code and sends the read contents to the bookshelf server 10.
