Inspite of the impossibility of the trisection of a general angle, using compass and straight-edge only, a theorem, connected with the trisectors of all the angles of a general triangle, known as "Morley's Miracle" is famous in Mathematical folklore since 1899. Its first direct proof, using only school geometry, reckoned as the simplest of all the proofs till today was given by an Indian M.T. Naraniengar in 1909, but it was lost sight of in the maze of many backward proofs and a solitary direct proof using trigonometry somewhat of a higher nature than is normally taught in Indian schools. Hence, this article records with pride that simplest and first direct proof by an Indian.
