Herstellung, Transport, Gebrauch und Entsorgung von Industriereinigern werden nicht unerheblich von den veränderten Gesetzen und Vorschriften des Umweltschutzes beeinflußt. Für Industriereiniger sind vor allem die Gefahrstoffverordnung, das Wasch- und Reinigungsmittelgesetz, die BlmSchV und das Wasserhaushaltsgesetz von Bedeutung. Die Einflußnahme betrifft die biologische Abbau barkeit und den Zusatz von Phosphaten, Komplexbildner, Amine und Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe. Des weiteren ist mit Beschränkungen bei der Abwassersrtuation und einer erweiterten Informationspflicht der Hersteller zu rechnen.%The production, transport, utilisation and disposal of industrial cleaners have all been significantly affected by changes in the law and revisions caused by environmental regulations. Of special relevance to industrial cleaners are the hazardous substances regulations, the laws relating to washing and cleaning substances, the German Federal Emission legislation and the water management laws. The main bearing on this class of compound concerns their biodegradability and the addition of phosphates, complexing agents, amines and halocarbons. Other relevant factors include the general tightening of effluent legislation and an enhancement of the duties laid upon the manufacturer to provide product information.
