Taiwan cafe

The project is a cafe planned in an urban district of Tainan city, located in the southern Taiwan. The surrounding of the site is a neighborhood once flourished in the past. Recently, there are many stores and cafes emerging for young people at the area on the other side of a high street. An intention of the project was to revitalize the entire surrounding region and to trigger town's rebirth by making a place where people gather on the site. The role for the cafe is projected to play for the first 10 years. Meanwhile, the district is expected to raise its value and the cafe will later be rebuilt into a new facility that matches the elevated worth.
