After a design competition we were selected as architects for the Logan Center for the Arts, a catalyst for creativity at the University of Chicago. The building, which opened in March 2012, is clad in long bars of golden limestone and sits at the edge of the Midway Plaisance, a green space designed by Fredrick Law Olmstead in the early 1890's. The new state of-the-art building houses the departments of Visual Arts, Film, Music, and Theater under one roof. These disciplines were previously scattered throughout campus housed in ad-hoc and under-served facilities.
