FANGS PAIRS TRADE: FB & AMZN

The great value investor Ben Graham said, "In the short run, the market is a voting machine but in the long run, it is a weighing machine." Of course, Graham and most value investors wouldn't touch Facebook (FB), Amazon (AMZN) or many other tech names given their valuations and erratic earnings results. But that doesn't mean that growth stocks can't be, or shouldn't be, assessed based on their fundamentals. At some point, as Graham noted, all stocks are judged based on their fundamentals - and Facebook looks like the clear winner over Amazon right now.
